Industrial Oak and Metal Dining Chair

The Industrial Oak and Metal Dining Chair is a rugged yet refined fusion of natural wood and industrial steel, perfect for lofts, trendy eateries, and modern homes. The seat and backrest are cut from solid American red oak, a hardwood known for its pronounced grain, good rot resistance, and warm pinkish-brown hue. The oak is finished with a matte, water-based polyurethane that resists scratches and makes cleaning easy – simply wipe with a damp cloth. The backrest is gently curved (a 10° angle from vertical) to support the lumbar region. The framework and legs are constructed from 20 mm x 20 mm square steel tubing with a wall thickness of 1.8 mm. The steel is sandblasted to remove mill scale, then coated with a black powder-coat finish (polyester-based) baked at 200°C for superior adhesion and corrosion resistance. The powder coat is 80 microns thick and passes a 500-hour salt spray test. Each chair has rubber feet to protect floors and reduce noise when moving. The chair is stackable up to 4 units high, thanks to a clever design where the legs nest into the seat of the chair below. Dimensions: 46 cm width x 52 cm depth x 84 cm height, seat height 45 cm. The chair weighs 6.2 kg and supports up to 140 kg. Assembly: required – the seat attaches to the steel frame with 8 bolts (hex key provided). Assembly time approx. 5 minutes per chair. No maintenance needed on powder coat; avoid abrasive cleaners. This chair is ideal for high-traffic settings because it does not absorb liquids or odors.
