The Library Ladder Armchair (Rolling) is one of the most unique pieces you will ever own – it combines a comfortable armchair with a functional rolling ladder. The structure is built from solid European oak (Quercus robur) with a clear satin lacquer. The back of the chair is designed as a miniature library ladder: four rungs (each 5 cm thick, with anti-slip grooves) are integrated into the backrest, allowing you to step on them to reach high shelves. The ladder is angled at 75° when the chair is upright, and it can support up to 100 kg on the rungs (distributed). The seat itself is a generously padded cushion (10 cm thick, high-resilience foam) upholstered in natural, undyed linen fabric (100% flax). The linen is breathable, antibacterial, and has a textured, organic look. The seat cushion is removable (velcro strips). The chair has a low profile seat height (52 cm) and no armrests on the sides; instead, the side rails of the ladder serve as armrests when you’re seated. The entire chair rolls on four locking casters (two locking). The casters are 75 mm diameter, made of black polyurethane, and can be locked with a flip lever to prevent unintended rolling.
