The internal frame is crafted from solid walnut wood (Juglans regia), a premium hardwood chosen for its stability and beautiful dark grain. The frame is fully upholstered in rich burgundy velvet (100% polyester, 350 gsm). The velvet has a subtle sheen and a Martindale rating of 40,000 cycles. The backrest features channel tufting – vertical rows of stitching that create a pleated, ribbed effect. The seat cushion is 10 cm thick, made of high-density foam (35 kg/m³) and a 2 cm memory foam topper, wrapped in batting. The cushion is not removable. The chair appears to float because the legs are slim, gold-finished metal (steel with electroplated brass coating), 18 cm in height. The legs are angled outward slightly (10° splay) for stability, and each leg has a clear rubber cap to prevent floor scratches.
